Ninth Circuit affirms $1.3 million judgment obtained by firm against national environmental contractor

February 19, 2020 — The Ninth Circuit affirmed a $1.3 million judgment that Luminate Law obtained against a national environmental services company in the federal district court in Hawaii. Elijah Yip speaks about privacy law at Internet Law seminar

05/22/19 – Luminate Law partner Elijah Yip joined Seith Reiss and Walter Coronel as a panelist in a presentation on the fundamentals of Internet Law. The seminar was sponsored by the Intellectual Property and Technology Law section of the Hawaii Bar Association. Yip presented on privacy law in the U.S. and the GDPR, while Reiss spoke about internet jurisdiction and online defamation issues, and Coronel discussed copyright law on the internet.
